The Booking Process

Where to go from here?  Let's look at the steps in booking your wedding blooms with me, as well as the process that follows!  By booking me and following my timeline below, your wedding flower planning will be as absolutely as stress-free and streamlined as possible!

Step 1: Choose your colour scheme + style
After choosing a venue, the next step for deciding what sort of atmosphere you will have at your wedding comes down to colour scheme.  Your floral colour scheme should complement your venue, decor and bridesmaids' dresses.  Most importantly, it should be something you and your partner love! I work with seasonal blooms that, much like fruit, change and vary based on what season it is!

Step 2: Send an enquiry
If you have your wedding date, venue + colour scheme selected and love my blooms, you're ready for the next step! Contact me via the enquiry form and fill in all the relevant details as best you can. This is a perfect opportunity to tell me about you + your lover, and of course your wedding vision.  I don't need to let me know exact quantities or flower varieties, I just need a rough idea and a few photos of your style to ensure it aligns with my work before locking it in!

Step 3: A simple conversation around pricing
If I'm available for your date and I want to work with your vision, I will send you an email reply with my price guide, where we'll briefly chat about your ideal vision, and also chat about what your floral investment may be.  This is a simple but important conversation to ensure we are on the same page - many brides come to me wanting hanging installations, freestanding arches and 7 bridesmaids' bouqs for a $2000 budget, which is understandable if you aren't in the industry, as you have no idea how much things cost - so I'll let you know what can realistically be created with your budget.  I gather a rough idea of what your style goals are, and you'll feel understood and trusting that I can bring this vision to life based on your desired budget before placing a deposit. If you are wanting to have a phone call too, this can definitely be arranged!

Step 4: The booking
After we are on the same page regarding style, vision and your flower investment expectations, you pay my flat fee to lock in your date and secure me as your florist.  You do not need to have an exact idea of what you're after to lock me in at all as I charge a flat fee, rather than a 25% deposit of a quote. I am unable to hold your date for you without a deposit. Once the deposit is paid, the flower investment can't be reduced by more than 10% of the original investment spend agreed upon.

Step 5:  Your vision
Around 1-2 months out from your wedding, I will send through a questionnaire to you via email touching base.  This is done as close to your date as possible, to ensure the details are fresh in our minds, but also to ensure it is as accurate as possible to your final vision.  I spend the next months curating your dream inspiration board, planning mechanics + logistics, ordering + organising a team to execute your vision with me.

Step 6: Full floral proposal
Around 2-3 weeks out, a detailed proposal including visuals, colour swatches, descriptions + an itemised list is written up based on everything I have gathered about you, your love + your vision, over the past months!  This will also have your final invoice attached.  Woohoo!

The step after this?
