FLOWER DELIVERIES

Every morning we head to our local flower markets to hand select the freshest + most beautiful flowers of the day. Each bouquet is made up of quality, locally sourced flowers and is handcrafted with the upmost care, so you can trust that you or your loved one is receiving only the best

How does it work?

We aim to design florals that accentuate each flower’s natural beauty, arranged in our classic, whimsical style, as if it was just picked from the garden.

Our approach is simple:

All of our signature bouquets come wrapped in thick, premium kraft paper, and also include an eco-friendly flower care card attached to each bouquet with a reusable oh-so-cute peg, so you know how to keep your florals happy after you’ve received them.

What you get:

The bouquets are then finished in tissue paper and tied off in long trailing ribbons to accent. Every part of the flower wrapping (even the sticky tape!) can be composted, leaving a minimal print on our Earth.

Our couriers are too busy delivering beautiful flowers to have time to text when every single bouquet is delivered, but you can rest assured that if you have asked for the order to be delivered by a certain time as it is going to a business, our couriers will make sure this happens. If you haven't requested a specific time, your order will be delivered by 6pm

Fresh flowers are now ready to love. We include a care card on the instruction so the client knows how to keep their flowers happy and loved! Ps - Our delivery time is typically between 12-6p, with the courier aiming to have all deliveries done by 6pm, so if you don’t hear from us – don’t fret! If they are in the van, they are getting delivered.

Process

A: When placing your order, you’re automatically agreeing that you’re happy for us to leave the blooms out if no one is home if it's safe, but don’t worry! All floral bouquets come wrapped in a water bag. Naturally, we will try to leave the blooms out the sun, however, we cannot guarantee this. That is why it is crucial to make sure the recipient's phone number is correct so our courier can text them that a cheeky delivery is waiting at their doorstep (but don't worry, they don't ruin the surprise)! If we can’t get a hold of our recipient, we will call or text you. Our delivery drivers will always do their best to assess the situation case by case, and if they deem it unsafe to leave outside (eg. a super hot day, the delivery is to an apartment building we cannot get access into etc) the flowers will be brought back to the studio, where the recipient can collect, or another delivery fee will apply for a redelivery. This is why it is best to please ensure you have 2 separate phone numbers on the order - yours, the order-er, and the recipient.

Q: Does someone need to be home to accept the order?

A: Bee’s Blossoms works out of a private floral studio in the heart of Mudgeeraba, on the Gold Coast. Our address is 8/5 School Street, in Mudgeeraba, but please note that our floral studio is not open for walk ins and we are an online florist shop only.

Q: Where is Bee’s Blossoms located?

A: All of our floral designs are inspired by the rhythm of the seasons and daily availability, meaning the availability and characteristics of flowers fluctuate often! Because of this natural variation, we don't stick to a fixed stem count or size guide for our bouquets. Our focus is purely on delivering the highest quality and most beautiful seasonal blooms for your special occasions. If you're curious about the size in a particular photo, we encourage you to share this with us so we provide info and help you visualise the potential size of your bouquet. Feel free to reach out with any questions; our team is dedicated to making your floral experience as personalised and fulfilling as possible!

Q: Do you have photos of the size difference?

A: Yes, we deliver to all businesses! However, if you need the blooms delivered by a certain time, please ensure you include this in your order notes so we can pass this onto the courier to ensure they get there on time. Keep in mind that morning deliveries aren’t typically available as we need time to go to the markets and create the blooms. ☺

Q: Do you deliver to schools, work places, hospitals etc?

A: Absolutely! You are more than welcome to select ‘store pickup’ in the checkout when ordering your blooms to pick them up from our studio to save on a delivery fee. You will receive a text prior to pickup to arrange a time frame on when you plan to pick up your flowers. Please ensure you arrive on time, as we aren’t open 9-5 like most florists and sometimes come in by appointment only. ☺ You will receive a text when your order is ready for pickup. If you have selected store pickup and need your blooms by a certain time, please email or leave a message in your order to ensure that we are able to cater to your requests, as we aren't in the studio all the time.

Q: Can I pickup my blooms at your shop?

A: If you made a mistake on your order, or need to make any changes for the delivery date, message, delivery address or the recipient’s name, please notify us ASAP via email or the contact page! If an incorrect delivery address or incorrect delivery name has been supplied and we have already left our studio or delivered the blooms, we unfortunately cannot be held responsible. This is the same if your flowers have been delivered to an address which is no longer valid or you have entered this wrong. Please pretty please triple check both your details & the recipient's so we don't ever have this issue.

Q: What do I do if I need my order amended?

A: We sadly don’t regularly offer same day delivery, but you’re more than welcome to shoot us a message before 10am and we will see what we can do! Alternatively, we know of some other flower fairies we would be happy to recommend to you!

Q: Does Bee's Blossoms offer same day delivery?

A: Simply, no. And that is why we love it. Each day’s flowers vary from another’s based on seasonal availability. This is the best part - they are different every day and no 2 bouquets will be the same! We can’t guarantee any specific flowers or colours for our bunches, but we can promise your bouquet will be so dreamy and oh so whimsical. All of our bouquets are based on seasonal availability*, and we strive to support local suppliers & growers. Please note - all phalaenopsis orchids are imported from overseas.

Q: Will my flowers look the exact same as displayed on the website?

A: We attach a little care card with instructions with every boquet on how to keep your blooms living their best life! We recommend to carefully unwrap your blooms out of their wrapping ASAP, trim around 2cm off the stems with sharp scissors or garden shears on a 45-degree angle, and pop them in a clean vase with fresh water. We tie all of our bunches together with twine to keep your blooms structured and in place, however if you’d like to play DIY florist at home or you’re after a wilder look, feel free to untie them. Your blooms will be happiest in a cool (and if possible airconditioned!) area – not outside. Make sure no foliage or leaves are in the water, as they will rot and create bacteria in the water. We suggest changing the vase water every day, trimming the stems every 2ndand making sure your blooms are away from fruit (fruit releases ethylene gas that makes your flowers wilt quicker – who knew!?) Just because one flower has died doesn’t mean the rest of the bouquet has! Pick out the dead flowers to keep the rest of your bunch lookin’ happy!

Q: How do I keep the flowers happy when I bring them home?

A: “Some things are more precious because they don’t last long.” - Oskar Wilde. Unfortunately, this is what happens with fresh flowers! We make a conscious effort to include flowers with different lifespans in our bouquets, so you get the most out of your blooms. To ensure that the wilting flower doesn’t infect or upset the other flowers in the bunch, take it out of the bouquet and change the vase’s water. Depending on how sad it’s looking, you can choose to quarantine it in its own vase to get the most out of it, press it in a flower press or in-between 2 books with baking paper, put it in your worm farm or organic compost, or simply bin it!

Q: What do I do when the flowers eventually start to die?

A: We use a great courier that lucky for us delivers our orders all around the Gold Coast + some parts of Northern NSW for us, specialising in flower deliveries to ensure your delivery arrives exactly how it left our studio, in perfect condition! They charge their delivery fee (which will be added in the checkout) based on the radius in km travelled from our flower studio, at 8/5 School Street in Mudgeeraba. There are some suburbs which although it may be within x radius of our studio, we don’t offer delivery there as it may be out of our courier’s regular run up and down the coast. If you think the area you’re wanting a delivery to might be a bit far out, please just shoot us a message so we can ask our courier if it is possible to do!

Q: Which suburbs does Bee's Blossoms deliver to?

A: Our delivery prices are as follows:
Within a 6km radius - $14
Within a 6-12km radius - $18
Within a 12-18km radius - $22
Within an 18-22km radius - $26
Within a 22-30km radius - $30

Q: Do you have delivery fees? What are they?

A: If there are any issues:
All our bouquets are based on seasonal availability, so naturally each stem is different. Although we hand deliver our bouquets and assess the quality before they leave the studio, in the rarest ever case ever that your flowers might arrive damaged or not last the way we advertise, please, don't leave us a bad review. Instead, send us a photo with some details ASAP (within 24 hours) so we can assess your situation and come up with an agreed solution. We have and will always pride ourselves on using high quality blooms, so compromising on quality just isn't an option for us. Please ensure you have carefully followed our care instructions. We do not offer change of mind refunds or returns.

Why bee's?

Click 'Next' to read how we are making sustainable choices within the business. We understand that everyday we are still growing and learning, but we hope you appreciate the sustainable choices we currently make as a business to care for our beautiful Earth.

...Prioritising Sustainability

We have carefully curated the packaging we send our beautiful blooms out in, and the packaging is reflective of our love for the Earth! We pride ourselves in using compostable twine to tie your blooms together, recycled kraft paper to wrap your blooms up, cellulose plant based sticky tape instead of plastic tape, an eco-friendly/compostable water bag instead of one-use plastic cello, recycled paper + eco friendly ink for business cards & care cards, a reusable oh-so-cute tiny peg. It was intentional; everything in your bouquet can be recycled, reused or composted.

...Intentional Wrapping

We source and buy the flowers for each order after you have made your purchase, to ensure we only provide fresh, high quality blooms with minimal waste. Any leftover flowers are loved by us and taken home, or given to my sweet mum to enjoy! Flower petals can also be saved and used for confetti. Soft plastics are put into a separate tub and returned to a recycling depot to be repurposed (on hold at the moment). The extra bits are donated to a local school’s art department, where the students turn strange things the average person finds purposeless (e.g. bottle lids, twine spools), into amazing art.

...Conscious Waste Disposal

We strive to support local Australian growers & suppliers whenever possible in our retail orders, including picking up directly/getting deliveries from growers at their farms! Can't get fresher than that! This means we also aim to provide flowers which are in season. Lucky for us, Australia has a beautiful variety of incredible and diverse blooms all year round.

...Supporting Local Suppliers

We don't officially allocate a percentage of profits to charities, but our approach is deeply personal. By choosing our blooms, you help support our mission to aid children in poverty, like Bleydis, a 6-year-old girl from Colombia whom we currently sponsor. Your purchase contributes to her medical care and education. We're committed to our community and regularly support local businesses and causes with vouchers or donations, including 'Children's Memory Day' at Gold Coast University Hospital, Robina Roos Football Club, Qendo and the All Saints Anglican School's P&F raffle. Our ongoing contributions to organisations like Women of Colour, Cancer Council Queensland, and Amnesty International reflect our commitment to education, community support, and human rights advocacy.
